This Privacy Policy describes how Oplivo ("Oplivo," "we," "us") processes information when you use the Oplivo AI Operations Platform (the "Service"), including when you connect an Instagram business or professional account through official Meta/Instagram APIs.
Scope
This policy applies to the Oplivo web application, related APIs, and integrations you authorize. It covers data we receive from you, from Instagram/Meta when you connect an account, and data generated while operating conversations, workflows, and automations in Oplivo.
Information we process
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process the following categories of data:
- Instagram business or professional account information, such as account identifiers and profile details made available through authorized Instagram APIs.
- Instagram user and account identifiers associated with conversations and messaging on connected accounts.
- Messages and message metadata that users send to your business on Instagram, including timestamps, delivery status, and related conversation context needed to operate your inbox and automations.
- Access tokens and authorization data you grant when connecting Instagram to Oplivo, used solely to maintain the integration you requested.
- Conversation, workflow, and operations data created inside Oplivo, such as customer records, workflow runs, templates, operator actions, and configuration you maintain for your operations.
- Technical logs and security records, such as authentication events, integration health signals, and diagnostic logs used to secure and maintain the Service.
How we use information
We use the categories above only to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Receive, display, and process Instagram messages on your behalf;
- Run workflows, automations, and AI-assisted operations you configure;
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, and protect the security and integrity of Oplivo.
We do not sell personal data or Instagram/Meta platform data for advertising purposes.
Instagram / Meta platform data
When you connect Instagram, Meta platform data is processed in accordance with applicable Meta Platform Terms, Instagram API documentation, and related Meta policies. We use such data only as permitted for providing the functionality you enable (for example, messaging and account management features supported by the official APIs).
Sharing with third parties
We do not disclose Instagram/Meta platform data or your operational data to unauthorized third parties. We may share limited information with infrastructure and service providers that process data on our behalf solely to host, secure, or operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting or observability), under contractual obligations consistent with this policy.
Data retention and deletion
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may disconnect Instagram inside Oplivo or request deletion of data associated with your use of the Service. Instructions are available on our User Data Deletion page.
Your choices
You can revoke Instagram access through Oplivo settings or through Meta's account permissions where applicable. You may also submit a data deletion request as described on /data-deletion.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
